Ranveer Singh’s relationship with the real gully boys of India has become extremely close and personal. Ranveer, who plays an incredibly talented street rapper from the streets of Mumbai in Zoya Akhtar’s next titled Gully Boy, showed his support for all the underground hip hop artists by attending a hip hop fest on Saturday night. He ensured he was cheering the loudest for them.
“Ranveer is friends with these talented artists and he is deeply connected with their music and life. Divine was performing at the Gully Fest in Mumbai. Ranveer is neck deep with his Simmba shoot but he ensured that he attended the event and supported Divine and all this artists performing. Their music has connected with him on an emotional level and he will do his best to support and popularise this music globally,” says an informer from the event.
