Bigg Boss is one of India’s most controversial reality shows but its popularity continues to reign. Be it is the magic of host Salman Khan or the show’s constant scandals, the audience continue to binge on the show. With season 11 all set to go on air, Salman Khan recently held a press conference for the show and he revealed that he can’t bear to stay in that house.
According to Salman Khan, he won’t be able to survive even for an hour inside the Bigg Boss house. He also added that he would pull out his hair and that he is more than happy to play the role of just the host. But even his role as a host is no cakewalk. The actor too has got involved in several Bigg Boss controversies where his comments have got him into trouble.
Talking about his responsibility as a host, Salman Khan revealed that he is often in a state of confused mind in the beginning of every season since he is unaware of what to expect. Furthermore, mentioning about the ‘kaand’ [problems] that often happens on the show, Salman expressed that he is able to maintain his calm if something unpleasant happens on a Monday or Tuesday on the show but when trouble brews on a Friday, it doesn’t give him ample time to calm down and take up the role of the host. The unpredictability of Bigg Boss often gives him nightmares says Salman Khan.
On the other hand, according to Salman Khan, playing the host on TV has given a further reach to his stardom. Reminiscing about his ‘Dus Ka Dum’ days, Khan maintained that he was often recognized as the ‘Dus Ka Dum’ host rather than the actor who played leading roles in blockbuster films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun! and Karan Arjun.
Amidst his scoops of interesting anecdotes, yet another revelation made by the superstar was the presence of Bigg Boss in his life. For all the ones who are curious, let us tell you that the Bigg Boss in Salman Khan’s life is none other than the actor’s father and renowned writer Salim Khan or at least that’s what the superstar says.
Besides all of these, Salman Khan in his recent interview also rubbished rumours about getting celebrities on Bigg Boss. While he agreed about making suggestions and recommendations, he says that eventually it is the producers’ call to select the contestants on the show.
