While we all miss watching Priyanka Chopra in Bollywood, we cannot stop gushing over her success in Hollywood. From a TV show in the West to becoming a Hollywood royalty in a mere span of two years, Priyanka Chopra has definitely become a ‘global star’.
The fifth season of Karan Johar’s talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan’, has been all but mundane. The much-awaited global phenomenon Priyanka Chopra finally made it to the coffee couch. Once there, things were nothing but amazing. Priyanka's fashion and wit quotient were at their best as she was the solo guest on the show. The episode felt like their old friends catching up with each other after years of being apart.

Here are the top highlights from the episode:

1. The episode started off with a discussion of Priyanka Chopra's sudden fame in the West. Priyanka revealed she had auditioned for her role in ‘Quantico’ after reading 25 scripts and this was her first audition ever. She said that the makers stood up when she entered the room in high heels which was completely opposite to her character on her show and people were convinced she was somebody somewhere.

2. If readers have kept tabs on Priyanka Chopra's life, they would know that she had presented an award at the ‘Emmys 2016’ with Hollywood star Tom Hiddleston. And soon after the awards night, the paparazzi went berserk about a vibe between the two actors as the latter had just broken up with the Hollywood singer Taylor Swift. There was a brief moment, amidst their discussion about tabloid culture in the east and the west, where Karan Johar spoke about Tom Hiddleston stressing on the word 'The Night Manager' which, in fact, was the actor's show. Priyanka responded saying, "Their tabloid culture is very scary. It was at the Emmys, and, I was presenting with Tom Hiddleston. I meet someone for 10 minutes and it became world news. I have never encouraged this kind of situation. People write they wanna write, they will say what they want to say. When there is a ring on the finger, the world will know. I believe you are single, till you are married”.

3. The conversation, then, moved onto how women in Bollywood are always asked questions about their marriage when they reach a certain age. To this, Priyanka praised the women who have continued working as lead actresses in the industry even after marriage. She said, “You see Aishwarya, you see Bebo, you see Kajol, you see so many actors, who are married and yet enjoy complete superstardom which they haven't lost at all. And, I think that's how it should be. Kudos to India for at least reaching that point.”

4. Well, everyone knows the fact that Karan Johar is basically called the gossip mafia now, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. So, before the episode, Karan had helped Priyanka with all has been happening in the Bollywood, meaning keeping up with the gossip quotient. So, we found out from Karan that 'Ram is still with Leela' i.e., Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are still together but Ranbir Kapoor is single at the moment.

5. Karan Johar also mentions how Priyanka has always stayed away from the 'bitchfest' in the industry. Priyanka reveals how her mother always hated her for not giving any kind of gossip. She says that she doesn't want anyone else judging her for the kind of life that she leads.

6. Karan also brought up the topic about the constant comparisons between Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, as both have now ventured into mainstream Hollywood. Priyanka said, “Doing what I did was like breaking concrete. And people don't realize it, because, I don't talk about it very much. It's really hard to convince the studios you walk into that I am used to this kind of part, and I won't settle for less. Or, that I don't wanna’ be the stereotype of the exotic pretty girl.”

7. And once again, we heard some news about inappropriate behavior of Karan Johar with a female actress. According to him, Priyanka is no "abla nari" because, once she nearly punched him for groping her from behind.

8. Since, Priyanka Chopra was the only guest, no rapid fire round for the lady. But, that was replaced by the ‘Koffee Shots With Karan’ and ‘Race Against Time’ rounds. In the ‘Koffee Shots’ round, Priyanka and Karan took the ‘Koffee Shots’ whenever they have done something.

– Kissed an ex after the break up? Priyanka revealed that she has done it.

– Judged someone’s clothes at a party? Both Priyanka and Karan revealed that they had done this. Karan Johar also recalled about the gold themed Manish Malhotra party on his 50th birthday, when Karan had a ball judging the kind of hideous clothes he got to witness.

– Had phone sex? Both of them revealed that they had.

– Called someone by the wrong name while hooking up? Karan Johar revealed that he had, but he was not caught.

– Took a shower with your partner? Both of them said yes, but Priyanka wished that her mother does not see this episode.

9. Priyanka also hinted about bringing Dwayne Johnson to India so that Varun Dhawan can finally meet his idol.

10. After the ‘Race Against Time’ round, Karan Johar asked Priyanka Chopra whether she regretted anything. Priyanka revealed that she did not and added, “I don’t have any regrets. Even if I make a mistake, I own it. My mistake, my choice, because I am not a child. No one ever forces me to do things. They've been my decisions. So, I have the courage of conviction. Hence, no regrets. One thing I am very afraid of losing people that I love. That I am very emotional and sensitive about.”
