The Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in China last week. Directed by Kabir Khan the film despite releasing in China years after its global release has been doing well. After taking a flying start at the China box office, the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan on its first Monday in this territory has managed to open on a strong note.
Collecting USD 1.74 million [Rs. 11.31 cr] Bajrangi Bhaijaan has managed to claim the 4th spot on the list of top 10 daily grossers at the China box office. Interestingly, though the film opened at 7th place on its release, the upward trend in collections has seen the raking of Bajrangi Bhaijaan steadily rise. In fact, the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China on its fourth day has been better than the Oscar winning Hollywood film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri that has managed to claim the 8th spot on the list with a collection of USD 0.51 million.
Currently looking at the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the China box office, the film after collecting USD 2.25 million [Rs. 14.63 cr] on its opening day, USD 3.11 million [Rs. 20.22 cr] on Day 2, and USD 3.13 million [Rs. 20.36 cr] on Day 3 has managed to cross the USD 10 million mark with another USD 1.74 million [Rs. 11.31 cr] on Day 4. As of now the total collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan within the Chinese market are pegged at USD 10.25 million [Rs. 66.62 cr].
