Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil is demonstrating good hold at the Box Office right through the weekdays. On Wednesday, it collected Rs. 5.70 crore, which is quite impressive if one looks at Monday [Rs. 6.04 crore] and Tuesday [Rs. 6.10 crore] numbers. It is less than 10% fall from Tuesday to Wednesday which speaks volumes of the manner in which the footfalls are staying consistent for the Sanjay Gupta directed film.
The film has collected Rs. 85.30 crore so far in 8 days. Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath, which had released in the same time period five years back, had accumulated Rs. 89.5 crore in 8 days and that too without a clash. Now that Kaabil has managed almost similar total and that too in a clash with a much bigger film has a lot to say about the content it has to offer.
The Rakesh Roshan production should now go past the Rs. 90 crore mark today in its extended nine day week. Post that, Rs. 100 crore is for the calling during the second week. A plus affair, one looks forward to the kind of distance it eventually manages to cover in the second week now.
