The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that released in India in 2016 hit screens in China only a few weeks ago. However, despite this delayed release the Nitesh Tiwari directed film did rather well within the Chinese market.
After fast becoming one of the highest grossing Indian films within this territory Dangal continued its march at the Chinese box office holding its own again competition coming in from newer Hollywood releases. Now at the end of its run within the Chinese market the business of Dangal currently stands at a staggering USD 191 million [Rs. 1227 cr].
