A few days ago we had reported that the recently released film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that was directed by SS Rajamouli had become the highest grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office. Well, now a few weeks after its much delayed released in the Chinese market the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is all set to surpass the record benchmark set by Baahubali 2.
In fact, after just 17 days of its release in China, Dangal has managed to collect USD 112.54 million [Rs. 725.71 cr] this coupled with the collections from other makers has propelled the total box office earning of the film to Rs. 1463 cr.
However, considering the fact that the business of Dangal has witnessed growth in collections with each weekend proving to be better than the last it won’t be long before the film surpasses the Rs. 1500 crore mark thus surpassing the record established by Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion.
