The Nitesh Tiwari film Dangal which featured Aamir Khan playing the role based on real life wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat has been on a roll since its release. After storming the Indian and Chinese box office Dangal which only recently hit theatres in Hong Kong has been doing similarly well in this territory.
After opening on a steady note the collections of Dangal have fast been growing at the Hong Kong & Macau box-office. In fact, the business of the film has now crossed the USD 2 million mark within this territory, collecting USD 2.01 million [Rs. 12.84 cr]. Interestingly Dangal has managed this feat within just 15 days of its releases here.
With this the total oversea collections of Dangal are now pegged at USD 216.03 million [Rs. 1380.43 cr], while its total worldwide collections including India are pegged at approximately USD 296.54 million [Rs. 1894.59 cr]
