Our beloved stars give us the finer nuances of blending style with comfort through their numerous appearances in addition to allowing us a sneak peek into what’s in vogue and what’s not! The best dressed celebrities this week included Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. This week saw Alia Bhatt stir up a storm for Gully Boy promotions with her sartorial affair, Sonam Kapoor dishes out lessons in blending a corset with a lace saree and a fascinator. Deepika ushered the summer with subtle florals. Meanwhile, the worst Dressed celebrities included Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra. Priyanka’s overtly colourful style play failed to woo, so did her cousin Parineeti’s neon affair. Sonakshi disappointed with her choice of footwear over an unconventional red carpet style.

Best Dressed - Deepika Padukone

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Deepika stepped out on V-Day looking gorgeous in a Gauri & Nainika flowy gown. Teamed with floral eartops, subtle makeup and a low back easy updo, Deepika had us hooked, hooked and cooked with this subtle style play.

Best Dressed - Alia Bhatt

Styled by Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar for Gully Boy promotions in Berin, Alia turned up the chic quotient in the famed Moschino Spring Summer 2019 white-red pantsuit that Gigi Hadid had sported last year. A pair of pointy-toed stilettos sans accessories, bright lips and sleek hair rounded out her look.

Best Dressed - Sonam Kapoor Ahuja

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam attended the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2019 draped in a black Chantilly lace saree coupled with a corset and hat from Philip Treacy. Bracelet from Renu Oberoi, heels from Manolo Blahnik, bright red lips and a slick hairdo completed her look.

Worst Dressed - Priyanka Chopra

Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Priyanka attended the Hollywood premiere of Isn’t It Romantic wearing a strapless Vivienne Westwood gown featuring a metallic bodice and an ochre printed floral skirt. Pink lips, delicate eartops, wavy hair rounded out her look. An overtly colourful style play that isn’t exactly Mrs.Jonas’ usual style, we wish she had chosen something else that matched her stunning vibe.

Worst Dressed - Parineeti Chopra

Styled by Sanjana Batra, Parineeti tucked a fluorescent green top from Zara into a black skirt from Off White. Strappy heels from Truffle collection, wavy hair and subtle makeup completed her look. Jumping aboard the neon trend, this is certainly not Parineeti’s style vibe and the experimental mode fails to woo!

Worst Dressed - Sonakshi Sinha

Styled by Mohit Rai, Sonakshi went for an unconventional red carpet number at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2019 - a striped shimmery pantsuit from Dhruv Kapoor. Pointy heels, a low back ponytail and subtle makeup accompanied. We wish Sonakshi had swapped the pointy heels for an open-toed sandal!
