Padmaavat recorded Rs. 19 crore on opening day and was Ranveer’s biggest opening till yesterday as it was crushed by Simmba which recorded a whopping Rs. 20.72 crore nett on Day 1. With phenomenally good word of mouth and very positive reviews from critics, Simmba is set to have a glorious run at the counters.
