Enthralling his ardent fans, iconic actor Kabir Bedi today launched his autobiography, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life Of An Actor, with India’s biggest international superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The cover of the book was earlier unveiled on GQ India’s Facebook platform by Salman Khan, India’s biggest box office star. Published by Westland Publications (an Amazon company), the book is a fascinating read on the many ups and downs in the life of Kabir Bedi with stories from Hollywood, Bollywood and Europe.

In his interaction with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, on the Bollywood Hungama platform, the veteran actor narrated a series of fascinating anecdotes in his book. Among the most memorable is the story of his interview with The Beatles—a turning point in his career, taking him from All India Radio in Delhi, to advertising and theatre in Mumbai, and finally into the world of cinema. He spoke about his journey beyond India to stardom in Italy, then to Hollywood, and the difficulties of making a name for himself. Kabir said: My book is an emotional journey of my making, breaking and re-making as a man.

Kabir Bedi also spoke about the story behind the intriguing cover of the book, "The photo was taken by Terry O’Neil, Elton John’s photographer, who had clicked it back in the early ’70s." Delighted to be a part of Kabir Bedi’s book launch, Priyanka Chopra Jonas said, "You have experienced so much in this span of your professional and personal life, to give us a host of life lessons that we can incorporate into our lives. You have paved the way for many actors like us to follow in your footsteps and inspire them to scale new heights, both personally and professionally." Priyanka said, "This book is an amazing read and I would recommend everyone to go and grab it."

Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor is about the highs and lows of Kabir Bedi’s professional and personal life, his tumultuous relationships, including marriage and divorce, his wrenching setbacks, and his exciting days in India, Europe and Hollywood.
