The third day of the feted biannual fashion extravaganza, Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2018 edition concluded on a high note. The event saw the saw the likes of Shahid Kapoor and DishaPatani walk for Amit Aggarwal, Karisma Kapoor turn muse for Arpita Mehta. Janhvi Kapoor made her ramp debut for Nachiket Barve while the brother-sister duo, Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem made their ramp debut together for Anvita Sharma’s label, Two Point Two. Soha Ali Khan walked the ramp for Kanika Goyal label, Poochki and Shanti. While the concept of Inclusivity as a theme, this edition will explore new and innovative collaborations and ways of storytelling through experimentative presentations and showcases. The gala will also witness a celebration of wedding wear, festive wear and provide a sneak peak of famous Canada-based live entertainment company Cirque du Soliel’s show “Bazzar”.

Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem for Anvita Sharma
Two Point Two’s W/F’18 collection ‘Simultaneity’ paid tribute to the traditional agender Japanese garment ‘Kimono’. The collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2018 featured the deconstruction of the sophisticated formal wear into jaunty and chic streetwear with thread hand work embroideries and bold geometric patterns.
Huma sashayed the ramp in a mustard coloured crop top with flared pants and a longline slouchy shrug.
Saqib sauntered in wearing a high-neck tee with quirky pants and a jacket.
Soha Ali Khan for The Platform
Soha Ali Khan turned showstopper for The Platform presented by Smart Water featuring Kanika Goyal Label, Poochki and Shanti. While Kanika’s collection featured edgy silhouettes accented with graphic art that was inspired by clouds, Sakshi and Swasti Shah’s label Shanti featured the collection ‘Megh-Malhar’ crafted from discarded fabrics. The motifs and designs were fused to imitate the texture and variance of clouds, which were all set in a dark intense mood bringing forth ‘Megh-Malhar’.Ishanee and Aniruddh’s label Poochki’s featured the collection Black Cloud.
Karisma Kapoor for Arpita Mehta
Karisma turned showstopper for Arpita Mehta. The collection featured a breezy vibe with effortless silhouettes. The designer captured the effervescent spirit of the collaborating bag brand, Caprese with a fusion destination wear collection that was feminine yet flirty.
Karisma stunned in a black saree, looking nothing less than glamorous for designer Arpita Mehta.
Janhvi Kapoor for Nachiket Barve
. R-Elan presents Nachiket Barve’s ‘Millennial Maharani’ W/F’18 collection drew inspiration from the globe-trotting Indian Royalty of the 20’s and 30’ s, the lifestyle of jet-setting millennial bride squads, for weddings sprawled across the globe.
Janhvi made her runway debut for feted fashion designer Nachiket Barve wearing a bright printed lehenga from his collection.
Shahid Kapoor and DishaPatani for Amit Aggarwal
Amit Aggarwal launched his menswear collection with Shahid Kapoor and Disha Patani as showstoppers.
Shahid looked dapper in all black.
Disha Patani too looked stunning in a black dress with a high front-slit. The collection, Crystalise, emulated the feeling of movement, innovation in form and a feeling of luxury. The kinetic collection brings together sophisticated new age materials, new forms and craftsmanship to create a unique aesthetic vision.
