Director Anees Bazmee is well known for his comic films like Welcome, Welcome Back, No Entry, Ready, and others. For Welcome (2007) and Welcome Back (2015), director Anees Bazmee collaborated with producer Firoz Nadiadwala. However, towards the end of the shoot of Welcome Back, there was friction between the director and producer over remuneration. While the shoot was eventually completed and the film proved to be a success, the stressful period did affect the relationship between the two.

But, it seems like Anees Bazmee is absolutely looking forward to work with Firoz Nadiadwala once again to take the Welcome franchise forward.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anees Bazmee said that he will work on the third part of Welcome as soon as Feroz Nadiadwala asks him to do so. Talking about the sour phase of their relationship, the director said, "Woh dekho, kabhi kabhi hota hai. Maine zindagi mai koi bhi cheez ko dil mai nahi rakha hai. Mai 2nd day, 3rd day ,thik hai,ye hogaya. And halat honge ,waqt hogaya; mai maaf karke aage badhne mai believe karta hu. Mai believe karta hu saare mere dost hai. Kuch logone mere saath accha kiya hai woh bhi mere dost hai aur kuch logon ne nahi kiya, mai sochta hu kuch majboori rahi hogi. Koi problem nahi. Mai apni tarafse poori tarah surrender ho jaata hu, ki mere zehen mai and mere dil mai aapke liye kuch nahi hai. (I do not take everything to heart always. Within 2-3 days, I feel that what is done is done. I believe in forgiving and moving on. I believe that everyone is my friend. Those who have done me good are also my friends and those who have not, maybe they had their reasons. No problem. From my side, I surrender completely and have no harsh feelings for anyone.)”

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee is currently basking in the success of the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which was released in theatres last month. Starring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani, the film continues to perform well at the box office.
