Cannes 2022: Viola Davis, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Elle Fanning make stylish statement at Top Gun: Maverick premiere

The 75th Cannes Film Festival began on Tuesday with the usual glitz and glamour with a red carpet packed with celebrities. L'Oréal Paris has been a part of cinema history for 25 years as the official make-up artist of the Cannes Film Festival, and has returned to the festival to mark its 25th anniversary as an official partner. L'Oréal Paris always invites its spokespeople to Cannes, where they walk the red carpet on behalf of the brand. Actors and actresses such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Lela Bekhti, Gemma Chan, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Viola Davis, Elle Fanning, Aja Naomi King, Katherine Langford, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Camille Razat, Nidhi Sunil, and Kate Winslet are among the L'Oréal Paris spokespersons attending the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in attendance as the face of an international cosmetics company was joined by fellow brand ambassadors Elle Fanning and Viola Davis for L'Oreal Paris, were seen at the event fulfilling their duty by posing for some lovely photos on the L'Oreal Paris rooftop.

Three of them looked very lovely in their ensembles. Viola Davis looked gorgeous in an Alexander Mcqueen canary yellow gown. The dress featured a ruffled neckline, short billowy sleeves that flowed off her shoulders, and a streamlined bodice that resembled a corset. The dress also featured a broad waistline and a pleated wide skirt. Viola let her afro hair shine and added a touch of grace and delicacy to the side of her hair with a bird of paradise hair jewel. She finished off the look with neutral glam, berry lips, and kohl-rimmed eyes.

While Viola Davis wore a monotone gown, Aishwarya Rai dazzled in a Dolce & Gabbana floral gown. Her billowing strapless black gown featured a 3D flower extension on one arm and a plethora colourful 3D flower embellishments on the gown's skirt. The actress kept her makeup simple, opting for L'Oreal Paris's neutral and pink hues. She donned pink lipstick with on-point winged eyeliner, soft pink shimmer eye-shadow, flushed cheeks, glowing complexion, and her mesmerising eyes did the rest.

Elle Fanning looked stunning in a blush-pink tulle and crystal Armani Privé ball gown. The gown has a figure-hugging strapless bodice with a modest sweetheart neckline adorned with crystal beading. The flowing, floor-length skirt made her feel like a queen. Elle accessorised the look with a stacked diamond bracelet, matching necklace, gemstone ring, and a bow that resembled a recent red carpet hair accessory trend.

This year L’oreal Paris will mark the inaugural year of the brand’s Lights on Women Award, which honours and highlights the work of women filmmakers.
