Cannes is celebrating its 75th edition with a grandiose event. The film festival began on May 17 and will end on May 28. Cannes 2022 is noted for its spectacular and lavish splendour as well as for celebrating the best work in international cinema. The legendary red-carpeted steps have been frequented by celebrities, models, and actors dressed in the most stunning ensembles from haute couture runways and fashion houses. On the second day of the Cannes Film Festival 2022, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, one of the most beautiful women in the world, walked the red carpet of Top Gun: Maverick premiere starring Tom Cruise in a stunning black floral gown that left everyone speechless. This year, the brand returned to the festival to celebrate 25 years as the official beauty partner. In the spirit of celebrating this milestone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with other L’Oréal Paris brand ambassadors walked the red carpet as the brand welcomed them to celebrate empowerment and inclusivity.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has consistently proven that she is much more than just a pretty face. For decades, the actress has been the face of beauty giant L'Oreal Paris. Every year, the beauty giant is one of the festival's primary sponsors, and Aishwarya Rai returns to the event dressed in her designer finest, sashaying down the red carpet in a Dolce & Gabbana flowery gown on the second day of Cannes 2022. Her dramatic strapless black gown had a billowing silhouette with a 3D flower extension on one arm and a colourful symphony of 3D flower decorations on the gown's skirt.

The actress did not go overboard with her makeup, opting for neutral and pink shades by L’Oreal Paris. She wore her hair down with a simple classic middle puff and sported pink lipstick with on-point winged eyeliner, pale pink shimmer eye-shadow, flushed cheeks, glowing skin and her enchanting eyes did the rest. Aishwarya stole the show as she sported a minimal look done by the makeup maven herself - Val Garland, L’Oréal Paris Global Makeup Director. Keeping it light, the look was created using the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Matte Cover Foundation. Her dramatic eyes were achieved with the L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. She donned the 114 I Represent shade of the L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature and wore her hair down with a parting in the middle, which were set using the L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hair Spray. She looked stunning in her Dolce and Gabbana black gown with colorful 3D floral motifs.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan graced the red carpet along with her fellow brand ambassadors Eva Longoria and others. Post the red carpet, brand ambassadors were welcomed for an exclusive anniversary dinner. To mark the event, L’Oréal Paris, will be honoring one promising short film director in their second edition of their annual ‘Lights on Women’ Award program which aims at giving wings to female filmmakers.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in film Fanney Khan alongside Rajkummar Rao & Anil Kapoor. She will next appear in Tamil-language epic period drama film Ponniyin Selvan 1 & Ponniyin Selvan 2 by Mani Ratnam.
