BTS unveil fourth concept photos of ‘BE’ featuring Jungkook and his room expresses his love for music

BTS is gearing up for the release of their studio album, 'BE (Deluxe Edition)'. As the promotional photos are being released one day at a time, the new era of their music is more personal than ever as each member on the album and participated in everything from scratch. Starting with the group concept photo, they followed it with postcards dedicated to their fans (called ARMY), released two concept videos (mirror and reflection). Now, Big Hit Entertainment is dropping solo concept photos of BTS members that reflect their own style. The rooms have been curated by each member according to their vibe, individual style, and personalities. After the members V, Jimin, and RM, it is now time for the group's youngest member Jungkook to talk about his room.

Curated by Jungkook, the 23-year-old musician explains his room and why he chose to have speakers. "Hello, welcome to Jungkook's room. I'm the curator, Jungkook," says JK. "This room is decorated with my two passions - music and speakers. It is an embodiment of all my likes, with special emphasis on music and speakers. I wanted to create a room booming with music so that the viewer can catch a glimpse of who I am inside. Music can be a source of comfort, happiness, and strength. I hope you can listen to music that gives you strength, comfort, and joy and be happy doing so."

Seated on the leather couch, the young musician is donning silk shirt and pants along with a black t-shirt and paired it up with Dr. Martens Myles Brando leather buckle sandals. The outfit was worn by him in the group concept picture as well. "In fact, there isn't a special meaning behind the outfit. I thought it went well with the space. I wanted to showcase 'Jungkook' in 'Jungkook's room' in the best light possible," he adds.

Furthermore, he adds, "What objects in this room do you think best represent me? You probably guessed this already. That's right! Speakers. Speakers are not only the medium for delivering music, but also seems like a conduit for the comfort, and the joy a song delivers, which is why I chose them to be the objects that best represent me."

Jungkook is seated on a couch in a room full of different kinds of speakers that highlight his passion for music. Though set in a dark space, the purple shades in the room truly emanate his love for the fans. The walls have chalk scribbling. The vibe of the room reminds us of the cover of the BTS FESTA 2020 song 'Still With You' that he wrote and produced and dedicated it to the ARMY. This room has all elements of Jungkook style, a room that he finds solace in, a room that is dynamic, a room where he can showcase his creativity, and tells the story of a young musician whose anchor is music and finds comfort in it.

Like we mentioned earlier, each member has a different and has brought a unique concept with each room. Though their personalities are quite different from each other, they are very much aware of it and embrace it completely. The doors in each other feel like they are connected to one other. And what makes them a well-functioning band is the fact that this sense of understanding that when they come together, they create this synergy of being ONE power-packed group. These rooms are beautiful and we can't wait to see what they have in store.

BTS will release 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' on November 20, 2020, with title track 'Life Goes On'.
