Actor Ahsaas Channa marked a significant milestone in her career with an appearance at the ongoing 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The actress attended the prestigious international event for the special screening of her short film Gudgudi, which was showcased at the Short Film Corner during the Rendez-vous Industry Screening segment at the festival.
The screening added another notable achievement for Gudgudi, which had earlier also been featured at the Marche du Film segment at Cannes. With the project continuing to receive international exposure, the film’s screening at the global platform has emerged as an important moment not only for Ahsaas Channa but also for independent Indian storytelling on the world stage.
As one of the central faces of the project, Ahsaas represented the film at the French Riviera while also making a notable fashion appearance on the sidelines of the festival. For the occasion, the actress opted for a couture ensemble designed by Aisha Rao, known for her detailed craftsmanship and experimental silhouettes.
The outfit combined structured tailoring with fluid movement, creating a balance between contemporary styling and red-carpet glamour. The ensemble featured a fitted bodice paired with a cascading lower silhouette, elevated through intricate botanical-inspired embroidery and layered appliqué work in multiple hues.
