The film which features Shah Rukh Khan in a never seen before avatar has, over the run up to its release, generated tremendous hype. But will the Maneesh Sharma directed Yash Raj film live up to the expectation is the question of the hour.
Reports suggest that FAN has opened on a good note with 45% occupancy rate during morning shows. However, the general feedback for FAN has been mixed with some praising the film. But with no other release to give it competition, FAN stands a good chance at recording decent box office figures. Simultaneously, today being a holiday in certain territories, FAN is likely to see an increase in overall footfalls at theatres.
On the whole, FAN that enjoys a solo release, though might not post the ludicrously high opening day figures but it will see a steady rise in business over evening and night shows. Further with a two week window and little to no competition from other releases, all that is left to see is whether FAN manages to register impressive numbers at the box office.
