Three new movies, all three light entertainers -- WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR, SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX and HULLA. But the opening shows of the three films hardly brought any cheer for their distributors. However, the business of WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR showed a gradual increase by noon, showing 40% occupancy. The evening shows, expectedly, only showed a further escalation [65%]. The reports are very encouraging and the film is expected to score in the coming days.
SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX started on a 20% to 25% note, but the reports are extremely mixed. HULLA opened to a 15% response. However, the advantage with HULLA is its low costing [Rs. 1.25 cr.] and the makers/distributors should make a neat profit from theatrical and non-theatrical avenues.
