Four releases - RAKHT CHARITRA, JHOOTHA HI SAHI, HISSS and DUS TOLA - and the business seemed clearly divided. JHOOTHA HI SAHI opened marginally better at plexes of metros, while HISSS was poor at plexes but better at single screens of mass centres. The Telugu version of RAKHT CHARITRA fetched a flying start, but the Hindi version didn't, while DUS TOLA went completely unnoticed. The films may generate some interest over the weekend in some sectors, but weekdays onwards, the films are not expected to sustain.
The pre-Diwali phase is expected to take a toll next week and the industry feels that the business on weekdays is expected to decline considerably.
