A while back, we saw the release of the Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam in China. However, unlike previous Bollywood releases in this mark, the film opened to a tepid start with collections remaining rather low. This low key start was being attributed to the resurgence of the Covid-19 virus that had sent portions of the Chinese market into lockdown. Now on its second weekend running, Drishyam has managed to see an increase in collections at the China box office.
Collecting USD 770,000 [Rs. 5.89 cr.] on its second weekend running, the business of the film has seen an increase of 45% from its opening weekend collections of USD 530,000 [Rs. 4.05 cr]. In fact, the overall business of Drishyam has now propelled the film past the collections of previous releases like the Salman Khan starrer Sultan and the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore which had both collected USD 3.01 million.
Going further, the business of Drishyam at the China box office is expected to remain steady with a constant stream of collections coming in over its second week. As per predictions, the business of Drishyam will soon surpass the collections of Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil which had collected USD 3.42 million at the China box office.
