Continuing with Bollywood Hungama's Box Office report card, today we focus on two of the highest grossing films of recent times, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Dabangg 2. In this report, we compare the collections of both films taking into consideration their global collections.
Looking at the overseas territories i.e. US, UK, UAE and others, Ranbir's YJHD comes quite close to Salman's Dabangg 2 in most markets. What is astonishing though is that YHJD has beaten Dabangg 2 in UAE, which has been one of Salman's strongest territories and also in the US.
Interestingly, YJHD is still running in the theatres which may result in the film collecting higher revenue than Dabangg 2 in coming days. Looking at the pace at which YHJD is running at BO, it won't be surprising if the film collects Rs. 200 crores globally.
