3 Good

Director Mr. Vijoy Nambair work is good. He has kept the film subtle as per subject. Story by Vidhu Vinod Chopra is fine. Screenplay by himself and Abhijat Joshi is OK but somehow lacks the much needed thrill because most of the things are clear from beginning. Dialogues by Abhijeet Deshpande and Gazal Dhaliwal, are crisp and creative like "Shatranj Hota To Hathi Ghode Daudte, kutte Nahi". First half of movie is very slow except, its starting 15 minutes and before interval 15 minutes. Chemistry between lead pair is weak. Introduction scene of Wazir is very impressive. It looks exaggerated but it was required. Second half suddenly begins with drama and looks over board but when climax comes, you come to realize the reason. Only five minutes of climax saves the movie. Few long scenes are just for sake of action, keeping mind aside, like when you know that a person is going to board a flight and you have to stop him. You go for a long chasing sequence and check post barrier rather than trying to stop him on airport and surprisingly that person knows that you will chase him on road!? Amitabh Bachchaan is flawless as always. You just have to admire him. Farhan Akhtar is very good. Aditi Rao Haidri looks good and emotes well to, especially in emotional scenes. Manav Kaul as Yazad Kuraishi, Minister, is very good. He underplays the character perfectly as it had to. Neil NItin Mukesh in brief role of Wazir leaves his mark.
