The initial intro of Beera is good....u have a lot of expectations.....when one sees the first seen....the kidnapping part also luked to be decent....and the location where Rajini is taken was ecstatic....but thats it in the first half...nothin more to cherish except for Vikram at times...the first half doesn't carry the story ahead...and by the end of this session one will have lost his interest...the second half tries to get intact...especially the one fight sequence on the bridge between Beera and Dev...it was an awe-inspiring...and the action sequences in this half are truly splendid....but after seeing the first half one would have lost interest...Mani tries to capture in the 2nd half but alas everything is gone by then...cos to get the audience back on track a real magic is required...which is not very convincing....in the 2nd half....on a whole one if really interested must watch the 2nd half....Cinematography is great again..overall

I really liked Raavan. The film is enjoyable and intense. The cinematography and music were ACE! The visuals were so vivid and dreamy in nature. All of the cast performed well. Though I think Abhishek, Ash, and Priyamani were the stand outs who were the most moving in the film. Beera, Ragini, and Jhamuniya all had sympathies and support in the film. But all of the cast did very well. I thought Raavan moved at a brisk pace. The last hour of Raavan were the most moving, action packed, and enjoyable. Raavan was a very good film. It was one of the best performances for Abhishek, Ash, and Mai Ratnam. Once again the critics in India get so WRONG!
