GRAND MASTI surpassed my expectations completely.I wanted the film to be more raunchier,hotter n most importantly having more entertainment than its prequel MASTI (2004)..n I got complete value for my money which i spent to watch this movie on the very first day itself,although not the first show.
The concept of the film is a mixture of adult jokes n gags which are very very raunchier and too funny.Indra Kumar's direction is completely unapologetic n he is proving to be a master of comedies as he has a superb success ratio in the genre of comedy ie MASTI,DHAMAAL,DOUBLE DHAMAAL n now GRAND MASTI to be included in this for sure.
Performance wise,Riteish Deshmukh is very good as he is really a superb actor when it comes to comedies.Vivek Oberoi is good as well,but he needs to get rid of his newly acquired paunch because in this age,if he wants to have a great career ahead,he needs to look fit just like his other 2 co-stars in the film.Its good to see Aftab Shivdasani in a comedy after a long time n he is brilliant in his act.Karishma Tanna,Sonalee n Manjari Fadnis dont get much to do in the film n have very short roles.Bruna Abdullah,Maryam Zakaria n Kainaat Arora have a lot of oomph,n look hot as its their job to do in the film.
Pradeep Rawat n Suresh Menon are fine.
In terms of music,only the title track is very good,otherwise the rest of the songs r boring.Dialogues are great n exude a lot of laughter.I wish the duration of the film was more than 2 hr 10 minutes as it was really fun to watch this film.
Overall,GRAND MASTI will be loved by those who love adult comedies n mass entertainers which includes me as well.If the makers are planning to make MASTI 3 in future,then m waiting for it from now on.So my rating to the film will b 3.5 stars !!
