Wow....AK ! This man can compete TOM HANK. In fact, there is no comparison with SRK and others. Some one compares with SRK, they don't know much about Acting and cinema. I am agree with Taran, "An Aamir Khan film is nothing short of an event." It seems like we are this is a festival. Go to your local cinema hall and see the reality. The shows are pack until Monday and "DUS ka TEES" wala are selling the tickets for 10 time higher so "DUS ka SOU(100)". The movie is MASALA film so keep your intellectual mind with you and enjoy. It is like Solay, Gadar kind of movie. So if you like TZP, Mother India kind of movie then it is difficult to convince you that this is the BLOCKBUSTER of all times. But that is the reality.

Ghajini is one of the finest movies ever made in Bollywood. I really loved watching it. Aamir Khan is on peak and has proved that he is the best actor in India. Asin is also wonderful. The on screen chemistry among the two is marvelous. I could not keep my eyes off screen for a single moment.

Somewhere down the line, there is a constant attempt by Mr.Aamir Khan to break away from his conceived image as he devotes himself in a new film.He has been known as a thinking actor, who instead of deviating away from commercial film,he tries to glorify a vivid statement through each of his film. His present film Ghajini is an exception,as if you try to find logistics in this endeavour of his,you may not justify the 180 minutes of action, romance, drama and emotion.Sanjay Singhania(Aamir) suffers from a rare disease of Antegrade Amnesia, due to which he is unable to remember any incident for more than 15minutes.The reason behind his disease is not revealed, and the director slowly creates a suspense around it.Interestingly, its a long time, that a hindi film bearing the name of a villain,Ghajini, the person who killed Aamir's love Kalpana(Asin). With the help of Sunita(Jiah Khan),aamir finally tracks down Ghajini(Pradeep Rawat). The film will make grossful returns from the box office, special mention to the eloquent mastery of Ravi K. Chandran for his wonderful cinematography. The end was always predictable, but as a viewer I would have expected some more faithful fighting scene, specially the last 20minitues or odd, doesnot go with the pace of the movie. The usp of the film is undoubtedly the on screen presence of the business tycoon Sanjay trying to fit into a common man and the wannabe model Kalpana.Asin is a gracious, elegant, charmingly sweet actor.I would eagerly look forward to see her in some different roles, she has the potential. The violence shown in the movie in the name of action, may go against the film, the background score sometimes does not fit the situation, and the villain too over acts turning some serious moments dull.A.R Rehman-the mozart of Madras and his divine spirit creates magic again, with singers like Javed Ali,Kartheek,Benny Dayal,Shreya Ghosal,Sonu Nigam complementing the tunes. In terms of visual delight the song guzarish stands out from the rest. And finally Aamir Khan-the director, the producer, the singer, the actor. Some times we wonder how many more dimensions does this pocket size dynamite has yet to offer? He makes acting look so easy,be it romancing Asin, looking at her face, responding it through his eyes, his smiles,so much said, yet so little speech or the aggresive Aamir, who is mad to hunt down his lover's killer and can any bounds for it.Given a chance to rate the film,I would give a 3.5 out of 5,and I bet you would fall in love with Sanjay and Kalpana's sweet love story.Merry Christmas :-)

Ghajini has been in the news since 13 months, when its first stills came out. It created the most hype when Aamir shaved off his head in the beginning of the year. Day by day, the hype, curiosity and the excitement for the film went on increasing. And therefore, lots and lots of expectations were riding on the film. But Aamir can never disappoint! Ghajini, like most Aamir flicks, rocks! The film provides a wonderful thrilling experience from start to finish. It’s a film no movie buff can afford to miss! The story of the movie: Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan) is a patient with anterograde amnesia (short term memory loss) who cannot remember anything for more than 15 minutes. He’s on a mission, i.e. to find a man called Ghajini and kill him. Ghajini had killed Sanjay’s love Kalpana (Asin) and therefore Sanjay wanted revenge. Sunita (Jiah Khan), a medical student, inadvertently gets involved in Sanjay’s endeavour. Ghajini is basically a revenge saga and has a story which is beaten to death thousand times in Bollywood-villain kills heroine and the distraught hero then decides to avenge the murder of his love by killing the villain. However, two things make Ghajini completely different from other revenge flicks. First, the treatment. A R Murugadoss’s direction is unique and interesting. The plot moves differently and wonderfully and that’s the biggest pro of the film. Besides, the film is almost 185 minutes long but not even once will the viewer feel bored. In fact, there’s so much happening in the film that one wonders how the time flew so fast! And second, films till now have show protagonists suffering from retrograde amnesia, i.e. the character loses memory and cannot remember any of his past experience. Here in Ghajini, the protagonist suffers from anterograde amnesia, i.e. amnesia from the point of injury/accident forward. Sanjay Singhania can remember things for not more than 15 minutes. He has tattooed words ‘Revenge’, ‘Who is Ghajini’ and contact numbers of his acquaintances on his body and carries notes, camera and photographs wherever he goes. The director succeeded in showing the amnesia well. I’ve read about anterograde amnesia a lot in psychology till date. Watching it in a film was a great experience! The film has some brilliant scenes which may find a place in the viewer’s ‘long term memory’! Aamir’s entry scene was fabulous worthy of a thunderous applause! The murder of Asin was well executed. The climax, too, was thunderous and the film ends on a good note. Aamir Khan as usual springs up a pleasant surprise! In each film, he comes up with something unique and everytime he does a smashing job! The effort that Aamir had to make to get that perfect physique is worth appreciating. And performance-wise, he was just amazing! He doesn’t have many dialogues to speak in the film and he conveys the most with his eyes. Aamir’s performance in Ghajini will be remembered for a long time as one of the finest performances ever by an actor! Bollywood has got a new angry man! Asin leaves a mark, with her confident and wonderful performance. She does total justice to the chirpy and bubbly character of Kalpana and comes up with a fine performance. Watch her do an amazing job just before the song ‘Kaise Mujhe’. She surely has a long way to go in Bollywood! Jiah Khan is in a supporting role but does a fabulous job. She was brilliant in the scene just before the intermission in the mall. It’s unfortunate that she is not promoted. Her song ‘Latoo’ deserves to be publicized. Pradeep Rawat, the villain of the film, does total justice. This actor, who also played the role of Deva in Lagaan, shines in the negative role. Khalid Siddiqui (Aamir’s manager) looks dashing and does a great job. Others were good. A R Rahman’s music was beautiful. The songs which truly rock are ‘Guzarish’ and ‘Kaise Mujhe’. All songs are well picturised. Prasoon Joshi’s lyrics was beautiful, esp in the song ‘Kaise Mujhe’. Ravi K Chandran’s cinematography was mindblowing. The scenes shot in the little alleyways are brilliantly shot. Editing was perfect. Action was amazing! It was a little over the top, but still a treat to watch. Mention should also be made of Aamir’s trainer, Satya, who helped him in developing his physique. Without it, Aamir would have failed completely! A R Murugadoss’s story, screenplay and direction was almost flawless! Story was ordinary; it’s the engrossing screenplay which works big time! Direction too was amazing. Inspite being a little more than 3 hours, the film doesn’t bore even for a moment. Hats off to Murugadoss, the supremely talented filmmaker! On the whole, Ghajini is a powerful film that provides ample dose of entertainment and thrill. It is undoubtedly one of the finest films to come this year! It’s a film you can’t afford to miss! Go for it and have a great time!

Honestly, Amir has worked very hard but violence doesnt suit his persona... the movie is full of funny witty scenes but in flash backs... rest of it is all about his revenge and short term memory ... which even the villain makes fun off. Music is hummable... Asin looks good n acts gud ... but isnt she doing the repetitive of the south version ? so is the bad guy ... rest Jiah ... wasted! Extra hype created for marketing gimmicks, Of course Amir's worth it ...but not the movie... its not the biggest hit of the year...but it would, should do well for Amir's sake. I prefer Shah Rukh's Rab Ne..... !

Ghajini is waste of time and money.... The title itself is based on villans name...which doesnt make any sense.... villan got no importance at all in this movie... he is hardly there in any scene. firstly question comes in your mind why movie name is based on villan name when he is not imp character of movie. seconndly why its called action movie when their are hardly any action sequense in first half. Asin is brilliant..... she is life of movie but once she is gone movie is gone.... Movie ending make no sense at all..... asin introductory song make no sense at all....South version ending was far better then this one. Movie diary show 2005 and 2006 looks like it took more the 3 years for amir to make this movie.... which got no strong message for his fan at all. Movie dont make any sense.... It can be consider as an comedy but not as an action. They tried well to put amir as an centre of attention but I think they have failed this time. Asin stills the show. All song are given to amir but even though asin dont sing her apperarance make songs look more beautifull. I must admit amir body is the best but that is the only good part in this movie.... the concept of 15 min memory is really bad. If you show some points in movie then off course you have to clearify it..... how can he remember all stuff and fight with people for hours and hours and chase them, while his memory last for only 15 min.... makes no sense at all...... I dont think audiance is fool.... it looks like movie like RACE were they drift their cars with out breaks in there cars...lol I think audiance are much aware of this things going on now days.... It is nice to do big publicity stunts for your movie but its really not nice to judge public as fools. Amir body and acting is good in movie. Asin is best stills show. Once asin is gone movie is gone.Villan got no scope. Movie ending makes no sense. Over all Ghajini is not Hit but its a waste of time and money. I will not like to spend money for whole family to go in multiplex and watch movie rather then will watch on television when its free after 6 months or year.
