Considered to be the most aniticipated movie of the year, Dhoom 3 dissapoints most of the fronts. What hurts the most is the dilution of a very strong merchandise series with the release of its sequels. Time has come when Yash Raj Films should go on without Jai and Ali or pack the series up. How come two police officers from India get an offer to catch a criminal even though they have no track record of catching the previous two villians? There are lots and lots of questioned to be answered like how were banks looted by aamir khan or how a bike can be driven through a thin rope etc, etc. The first half really dissapoints and made me think I have wasted my money. But it was a much paced second half (mind that the movie was three hour long) and a riveting performance from Aamir Khan which saved the film. Vijay Krishna Acharya (who has delivered previous flops like Taashan and was script-writer of the previous instalments) should stick more on the story rather than action.
