EXPECTATIONS:
High!!...since the film has been in news....its music has been given lot of attention.Vishal-Shekhar coming together again with siddarth(and Ranbhir) makes us await for something great.Furthermore,the presence of Nadiadwala in the film brings the expectations to a higher level....So,let's start.
MUSIC:
The very beggining of 'Anjaana anjaani ki kahani' projects into the world of new age music...fun....and clubbing.The catchy lyrics of this song is its forte....music of V-S is entertaining....Nikhil D'Souza as well as Monali Thakur do justice to the track.....Final World,a gOOd start...the first track lives to our expectations....!!!
With a very soft bass....and a trendy electronic-rock music starts 'Hairat'...This track is a pure delice....The many variations in this song makes us realise the lots of hard works behind its music.....the way V-S merges the different instruments keeps us amazed....(the violin part merging in the rock track is awesome).Lucky ALi brings this song to a higher level with his powerful and 'young' voice....this track clearly place V-S amongst the best composers in our industry...!!!
'Aas Paas Khuda' is a very nice and cute track....As usual Rahat Fateh Ali handles the song with ease and hence gives us something refreshing to listen.The Unplugged version is alsO nice...!!!
'Tumse Hi Tumse' is another Wooow in this album....this cOOl and steady track brings lot of rythme to the album....biggest Wooow in this track is the singer-Shekhar Ravjiani...this man should sing more...much more...!!!he brings in this song the right emotions and pace..!!gOod job..!!
When you seem that every good songs of the album have been heard...comes 'Tujhe Bhula Diya'....this songs is a master piece.....the way V-S manages the music is splendid...the folksy-sufi touch is wonderfUl.....shruti and shekhar manages their part very well however Mohit chauhan takes this song to a much higher level...with lots of emotions...Mohit chauhan lines go straight to your heart.....Usually the 'remix version or any other version' of a song is quite not appreciated compared to the original one...but here..things are different...'The Dance To Forget Mix' is damn good...maybe better than the original track.....
The flow of good mucic does not seem to take a stop....I feel gOod is a damn gOod track....reflects the pace of the film,this track will surely finds its way in many iPODs...:)Vishal as usual brings his elements into that song which makes it damn special....Shilpa Rao brings the right emotions and variations....!!!it really feels good...!!!
Finally come Anjaana Anjaani....Only thing i can say it's one that u will want to listen more than once.Discover it yourself.
OVERALL:
Anjaana Anjaani breaks the barriers of expectations....it is far more than expected.The album is fantastic....Superb Music...Variations in Voices....Right emotions...Splendid pace..!!!I strong believe that it's the best album of 2010 till now. This should bring Vishal-Shekhar at least nominations this year..!!!DAmn GOod jOb..!!!
