दिग्गज बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री श्रीदेवी शनिवार की रात दुबई में इस दुनिया को छोड़ कर चली गईं । अपने भांजे मोहित मारवाह की शादी में शामिल होने के लिए दुबई गईं श्रीदेवी अपने होटल के कमरे में मृत पाईं गई थी । पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में श्रीदेवी की आक्समिक मौत का कारण अवचेतन अवस्था में बाथटब में डूबने से हुई, बताया गया । जहां पूरा कपूर परिवार और अय्यपन परिवार व पूरा बॉलीवुड श्रीदेवी की मौत से दुखी था, वहीं भारतीय मीडिया ने श्रीदेवी की मौत को बहुत ही असंवेदन व भयानक ढंग से कवर किया, जिसकी वजह से बॉलीवुड की तमाम हस्तियां नाराज है ।
दुबई अथॉरिटीज श्रीदेवी का पार्थिव शरीर उनके परिवार को सौंपने से पहले अपनी कुछ मानक प्रक्रियाओं का पालन कर रहा था । शनिवार की रात श्रीदेवी का निधन हुआ और उसके 48 घंटे के बाद उनका शरीर उनके परिवार को मिला । लेकिन इस प्रक्रिया के बीच भारतीय मीडिया ने हद पार कर दी । भारतीय प्राइमटाइम न्यूज चैनल और क्षेत्रीय चैनलों ने श्रीदेवी की मौत को अपने टीआरपी की चाबी मानकर उनकी मौत के बारे में कयासों वाली मनगढ़ंत कहानियां दिखाना शुरू कर दिया । और मीडिया की इस दोयम दर्जे की रिपोर्टिग पर फ़िल्म जगत खासा नाराज हैं और उन्होंने इसको लेकर अपनी नाराजगी जताई है ।
मीडिया कवरेज से नाराज हुआ बॉलीवुड
बॉलीवुड की हस्तियां जैसे फ़रहान अख्तर, रितेश देशमुख, विद्या बालन, शेखर कपूर समेत कई सितारों ने मीडिया के इतने गिरने पर कड़ी आलोचना की । और अब अमिताभ बच्चन ने ट्विटर पर इस बात को लेकर अपनी नाराजगी जताई है और मीडिया को अपने तरीके से असंवेदनशील करार किया है ।

श्रीदेवी के पार्थिव शरीर को मुंबई के अंधेरी स्थित स्पोर्ट्स क्लब में रखा गया है । जहां उनकी शोक सभा आयोजित की गई है । तमाम क्षेत्रों के सेलिब्रिटी श्रीदेवी को अंतिम विदाई देने के लिए यहां पहुंच रहे है । आज 3: 30 बजे श्रीदेवी का दाह संस्कार किया जाएगा । वर्तमान में, शोक सभा में पूरा कपूर खानदान व मारवाह व अय्यपन परिवार यहां मौजूद है ।
