Vijay Deverakonda takes legal action, files complaint against YouTuber for spreading ‘vulgar’ news; arrest made

A YouTuber has been arrested by the police after actor Vijay Deverakonda made an official complaint against him for allegedly spreading vulgar news. An FIR was lodged by the police about that YouTuber who was from Anantapur who was allegedly sharing false rumours about Vijay and a female actor on his CinePolis channel. They also ensured the offensive video was deleted from the channel.

According to the Hindustan Times, Vijay’s team filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department. The team said, “A few days ago, this individual spread vulgar news related to Vijay and another actress. The police promptly responded after their attention was brought to the disrespectful news. They located the person involved and let go of him post counselling and deletion of videos.”

 

The FIR was filed under 2590/2023 case number in Hyderabad. The YouTuber was arrested within hours of filing the complaint. They added, “Preventive measures are being taken to avoid such incidents in the future. Vijay is used to rumour-mongering but sometimes, people cross a line. He wants to set an example, especially when a third party’s name is also dragged in unfairly because it’s not okay.”

 

On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda will next star with Mrunal Thakur in a film titled Family Star.
