Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni Konidela share videos as Chiranjeevi gets felicitated with Padma Vibhushan in New Delhi
Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi was recently felicitated with one of the highest civilian honors, which is Padma Vibhushan, at a grand ceremony held in the capital, New Delhi. His son Ram Charan and doting daughter-in-law Upasana Kamineni Konidela accompanied him to the ceremony and even took to social media to share special moments, including photos and videos.
Upasana Kamineni Konidela added a personal touch to the celebration of this prestigious Padma Vibhushan award ceremony by sharing an endearing behind-the-scenes video aka BTS on her Instagram story, which captures a light-hearted moment between her, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan just before the formal event at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In the clip, Upasana engages in a playful exchange with the Megastar, showcasing their warm bond. She quizzes him about her shared traits with daughter Klin Kaara. While Chirajeevi adds affectionately, “Klin Kaara is an extension of you”, she goes on to add that her daughter and her have grandfathers honored with the Padma Vibhushan, where she is referring to Chiranjeevi and her grandfather Prathap C Reddy.
In another series of videos, she is also seen posting videos of Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi sharing a moment along with another clip of them walking up the stairs of Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
On the other hand, son Ram Charan also expressed pride at his father’s win by sharing a special Instagram post. Along with a series of images with his father, the actor captioned the post saying, “Congratulations dad. So proud of you. #padmavibhushanchiranjeevi @chiranjeevikonidela”.
For the unversed, Chiranjeevi made his debut in 1978 and has acted in over 150 films. The superstar will be returning to the fantasy genre after quite some time with his upcoming entertainer Vishwambhara and he has already kicked off prep for the same.
