Chiranjeevi Applauds Teja Sajja's performance in Hanu-Man; says, “He started his journey with me”

At a recent event, Mega star of Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi showered praise on actor Teja Sajja for his remarkable performance in the superhero entertainer Hanu-Man. Reflecting on their longstanding association, Mega Star Chiranjeevi reminisced about their first film together, where Teja Sajja started his career as a child artist around 25 years ago. Despite not hailing from a film family, Teja developed a deep admiration for Chiranjeevi and drew inspiration from his films.

Expressing his admiration for Teja's journey, Chiranjeevi stated, "He isn’t from a film family, so he developed that liking towards me and getting inspiration from my films. And now he has done ‘Hanu-Man,’ a film I wanted to play long ago. But when he did I thought yes, I’m satisfied. I don’t see him as a separate, he’s part of my journey. And now all of India is acclaiming. God bless you.”

 

The camaraderie between the two actors was evident as Mega Star Chiranjeevi's heartfelt mention of Teja Sajja's accomplishments resonated with the audience. Teja, who was present at the event, visibly was overwhelmed with emotion as he received love and support from the superstar.

 

For the unversed, Hanu-Man is a superhero drama featuring Teja Sajja as a common villager who develops powers inspired by the ones possessed by Lord Hanuman. The film, which also starred Amritha Aiyer as lead female role along with, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, Vennela Kishore and Raj Deepak Shetty in supporting roles, received love from audiences and critics alike. In fact, inspired by the positive response, the makers are now pumped up to kick start a sequel for the same.

 

Interestingly, Chiranjeevi too is marking a return in the fantasy genre after years with Vishwambara which is expected to have gone on floors recently. Directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by UV Creations, the makers have aimed at a release on January 10 next year, around the festival of Sankranti.
