Rajinikanth starrer Jailer gets UA certificate from CBFC

Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to return to the silver screen with his action entertainer Jailer. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is arriving in cinemas in August 2023. The first song ‘Kaavaalaa’ featuring Rajinikanth and Tamannaah Bhatia has already become a fan favourite. Now, the makers have revealed that the film has gotten clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

 

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer gets UA certificate from CBFC

 

Sun Pictures on Thursday tweeted that the film was cleared with a U/A certificate. “#Jailer certified U/A.  Get ready to witness the rage of Muthuvel Pandian from Aug 10th,” the tweet read.

 

 

 

On Friday, the makers are hosting the audio launch event in the presence of Rajinikanth, and Jackie Shroff among others.

 

Starring Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles, Jailer will release in theatres on August 10.
