Jr. NTR starrer Devara accused of plagiarism by producer Bandla Ganesh for the film title
It was recently announced that Jr. NTR’s next film is titled Devara. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the film is already in the production stage. However, now in a scathing attack, producer Bandla Ganesh, who is the owner of Parameswara Art Productions, has claimed that the makers of Devara have used the title, which he had previously registered.
“Devara is a title first registered by me, and I forgot to renew it; they have lifted it,” Ganesh tweeted recently. The makers of the movie are yet to respond to Ganesh’s claim.
In another tweet, he wrote, “I don’t have any problem brother, this is our Young Tiger’s movie, he is also my god ❤️.” The filmmaker also shared the poster of Devara which was unveiled on Jr. NTR’s birthday and wrote, “Super Ga undi ????????????????????.”
NTR 30 which is Devara is helmed by Koratala Siva. It is being billed as a high-octane action drama and marks Jr. NTR’s second collaboration with Siva after Janatha Garage. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara is set for a big screen release on April 5, 2024.
