EXCLUSIVE: "There was a bubble created around our guests" - says Kajal Aggarwal on marrying Gautam Kitchlu amid pandemic in her first interview post marriage

The beautiful actress Kajal Aggarwal recently got married to her long-time boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu in an intimate ceremony in presence of their family members and close friends on October 30. It was a fairytale-like wedding which was hosted amid the pandemic. While the ceremonies were kept intimate, many had joined via zoom calls in order to attend the wedding festivities.

In her first interview post her wedding, Kajal Aggarwal spoke to Bollywood Hungama on what it was like to plan a wedding during the current scenario. "We did have to follow a lot of protocols. We ensured that people were tested," said Kajal. "There was a bubble created around our guests. We tried to maintain every possible hygiene standard as possible. We used these Nature Protect products for the guests, we kept them in baskets in every guest room so that people can constantly sanitize their surroundings, sanitize touch-points, reduce exposure. People were all wearing masks, people who were of service to us were constantly shielded and wearing masks. We maintained social distancing as much as possible."

 

 

 

The actress also spoke about her honeymoon plans and said, "We are looking for a small getaway for 4-5 days if things go well and our tests come all safe and good. If we get our fitness certificates, we will travel."

 

Speaking of getting back to work right after her wedding, Kajal further revealed, "Work is something I am extremely passionate about and really committed to. It's always going to stay up as an important part of my life. I will resume shoot immediately post Diwali."

 

Kajal Aggarwal, who works both in Bollywood films and down South, will next be seen in Sanjay Gupta's multi-starrer Mumbai Saga alongside John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi. Speaking of the film and resuming the shoot, Kajal said, "I have very few days left with them. I will probably be doing it in December. I am raring to go back on set. We had a great time working on this film."

 

Mumbai Saga, is a period gangster flick, set in the 80s the film shows the transition from Bombay to Mumbai. It is a Gulshan Kumar presentation and is backed by T-Series and White Feather Films production. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sangiita Ahir, and Anuradha Gupta.
