Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati attend traditional pooja for their film Kaantha

The upcoming film Kaantha marked the beginning of its production with a simple yet meaningful pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. Actors Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati, and Bhagyashri Borse attended the event dressed in traditional attire. Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film has already drawn attention due to the involvement of Dulquer and Rana, both in front of and behind the camera.

Traditional attire takes the spotlight

 

Dulquer Salmaan opted for a classic white kurta-pajama set, adding subtle accessories like sunglasses and a wristwatch to complete his look. Rana Daggubati kept it traditional as well, wearing a white kurta paired with a beige shawl. His simple yet stylish look was complemented by a thick beard and dark sunglasses.

 

 

 

Bhagyashri Borse's elegant look

 

Bhagyashri Borse, the film’s female lead, appeared in a cream-colored saree with minimal jewellery, embracing a traditional yet comfortable look for the occasion. Her calm and composed appearance added to the atmosphere of the ceremony.

 

Upcoming projects

 

Alongside Kaantha, Dulquer Salmaan is also set to appear in Lucky Bashkar, which will be released around Diwali. There are rumours that Kaantha might be shot in black and white, similar to Mammootty’s Bramayugam, but the production team has yet to confirm these reports.
