Allu Arjun and Sukumar squash rift rumours, confirm no delay in Pushpa 2: The Rule release: “The way the film is shaping up…”

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and director Sukumar have put an end to rumours about a potential delay in the release of their highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. At a recent event in Hyderabad, the duo reaffirmed the film’s December 6 release date, dispelling any doubts about their collaboration.

The pair attended the pre-release event of veteran actor Rao Ramesh’s Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam where they addressed the rumors head-on. Allu Arjun, known for his iconic punchline ‘Thaggede Le’, confidently declared, “You know the feeling when you see how a film is turning out? You get some sort of confidence. The way the film is shaping up...you all will like it. December 6 Assalu Thaggedhe Le (I will not back down). This is fixed.”

 

 

 

Sukumar echoed Arjun's sentiments, assuring fans that the film would be a treat. “We initially thought we were doing Pushpa for us. But it's for you [pointing at the fans]. We are working hard to provide the best experience to fans. A few scenes are taking more time and I don't want to compromise on the quality. Allu Arjun's performance and the film will be phenomenal,” he said.

 

The director also added a touch of humor, stating, “Performance Thaggedhe Le. Movie Assalu Thaggedhe Le.” He even performed the signature Pushpa gesture.

 

 

 

Earlier this year, rumours had circulated about a possible rift between Arjun and Sukumar, primarily due to the film’s initial August 15 release date being pushed back. However, their appearance together at this event and their enthusiastic support for each other’s projects have effectively quashed these speculations.

 

Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to be a multi-lingual blockbuster, featuring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film is set to release on December 6.
