John Krasinski unveils behind-the-scenes images of A Quiet Place: Day One from day one of filming; see photos

Filming is now officially underway on A Quiet Place: Day One, franchise star John Krasinski has confirmed sharing the behind-the-scenes pictures on social media. The actor took to Twitter to share the images from day one of filming the prequel which is set to be released on March 8, 2024. The film is a prequel to the original 2018 horror franchise A Quiet Place, written and directed by Krasinski, who also starred alongside Emily Blunt.

"Requisite photo of slate on day 1… this time with a twist! So honored to be there day 1 of 'A Quiet Place DAY ONE' with the maestro Michael Sarnoski and legendary Lupita Nyong’o Cannot wait to see what magic they conjure in this one!," Krasinski wrote on Twitter.

 

 

 

Originally announced in November 2020, the prequel stars Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolff. Besides Krasinski, the film is being produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. Krasinski is also credited as the writer for the upcoming prequel.

 

The highly anticipated prequel is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 8, 2024. Another A Quiet Place movie to be directed by Krasinski is set for release in 2025.
