Men’s grooming brand Beardo and Abhishek Bachchan today responded to Shehnaaz Gill’s tweet on World Beard Day. In her tweet, Shehnaaz questioned the hype around the Beard & that she was shocked that “Beards” had a celebratory day.

This irked Beardos from across the country who joined the conversation, sharing how the Beard represents more than just facial hair, or a style statement. It described how the Beard personifies the original traits of masculinity - being courageous, ballsy, stepping up & taking charge when others wouldn’t. The beard signifies a MAN who owns & takes pride in his OG Masculinity & identity, who lives by his own moral code, as opposed to being dictated by society.

 

Through this inspired illustration, Beardo celebrated World Beard Day, honouring the ultimate depiction of masculinity. The beard is not just a bunch of facial hair, it’s the physical embodiment of the character & values behind the man.  The creative further elucidates that the act simple of shaving is a lot more than just taking off your facial hair but also somewhere leads to a personal compromise of your identity. Not only is the beard timeless & classy, it makes a statement about the kind of men who have the courage to don it & the patience to groom it.
