Woah! Here’s how much this eight minute sequence of the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho costs
Considering the hype surrounding Saaho, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor starrer is one of the most awaited action packed entertainers of this year! It was recently revealed by Madhie, the cinematographer of the film that an eight-minute action sequence has been made on an extensive budget and it as much as approximately Rs. 70 crores.
Revealing details of the same, a source close to the film said, “The action sequence was shot in Abu Dhabi and Saaho will definitely make history for a record-breaking budget on the sequence. The Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor film is a multi-starrer and will see Prabhas' character having multiple layers to him whereas Shraddha Kapoor will essay the role of a police officer.”
Post the success of Baahubali, we know that Prabhas has become a star pan India and the film marks his Bollywood debut. On the other hand, it also marks the South debut of Shraddha Kapoor who will be playing a police officer for the first time. Furthermore, speaking about the film, it is being shot in three languages, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, simultaneously.
Saaho also boasts of an interesting ensemble cast comprising of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma, amongst others.
Saaho is a high octane action thriller which is presented by T-Series, produced by UV Creations and directed by Sujeeth. It is set to hit the theatres on August 15, 2019.
