One of the much anticipated movies, Ponniyin Selvan - 1 (PS-1), is scheduled to come out this week on September 30. The epic historical novel PSI-1, was written by Kalki Krishnamoorthi in the 1950s and now the film is directed by cinematic guru Mani Ratnam. The costumes, life-size sets, and minute details that can be seen have all been carefully designed to recreate a historical drama from the Chola Era, which is one of the movie's highlights. Even amid the film's promotion, the main cast stayed committed to their roles. Trisha Krishnan's promotional attire veered toward the aesthetics of her on-screen role as the Chola princess Kundavai.

Every costume she wore for the movie's promotion praised the durability of Indian handloom. The actor has donned a number of head-turning outfits that we cannot stop raving over, including sarees. With Trisha Krishnan's most recent appearance, we are yelling "all hail the sunshine!" She added a touch of warmth to a Neeta Lulla creation. The Kodi starlet donned a lovely yellow saree with sequins, which was accented by a stunning white beaded border and embellished with feathers that were strewn around the drape and on the hem.
