Sonakshi Sinha asks people to abandon their ignorance and inhumanity instead of pets
Amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country, there are false rumours of animals being carriers of the virus. Several celebrities have taken to their social media to bust this rumour. On Wednesday, Sonakshi Sinha took to her social media handle to speak about the same.
The actress posted a picture with a dog and wrote, "Hearing stories about people abandoning their dogs because they think the virus spreads through them. I have news for you - you are idiots and the only things you should abandon are your ignorance and inhumanity!"
Earlier, celebrities like John Abraham, Preity Zinta and Farah Khan also took to their social media handle to spread awareness regarding the same. WHO(World Health Organisation) had earlier confirmed that animals are not carriers of this virus.
