Shehnaaz Gill claims she was “cheapest” Bigg Boss 13 hire but came out as the most expensive one; Salman Khan proudly agrees, watch
Shehnaaz Gill, one of the most popular contestants from the 13th season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss, has come a long way since her stint on the show. After her stint on the show, she continued to make waves in the entertainment industry with her music videos, TV appearances, and social media presence. Now, the Punjabi actress and singer is set to make her debut in a Salman Khan film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. But, did you know she was the cheapest hire on Bigg Boss 13?
Shehnaaz, who is also popular as Punjab Ki Katrina Kaif, herself claimed that she was the cheapest hire on the Salman Khan-hosted show. It all happened during the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, where the star cast of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan including Salman and Shehnnaz, had appeared for the promotions of their film. Given the nature of the show, Kapil jokingly asked Shehnaaz whether there was a payment due from Salman Khan’s hosted show that he decided to sign her for his film.
In her response, Gill asserted, “Usme to payment mujhe bohot hi kam mili thi. Sabse sasti main hi thi aur sabse meghengi ban ke nikli hu (I was paid very less in that show. I was the cheapest hire but came out as the most expensive one).” Meanwhile, Salman Khan can be seen nodding happily to agree with Shehnaaz’s claim.
Coming back to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, besides Khan and Gill, it features Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar. Helmed by Farhad Samji, the film is slated to release on April 21, which marks the return of Khan on the Eid release slot.
