RRR Success Party: Aamir Khan hugs Makarand Deshpande, poses with Rakhi Sawant; Ram Charan arrives bare-foot
RRR has smashed the box office and set remarkable records. Globally, the film by SS Rajamouli is set to cross the Rs 1000-crore mark. To celebrate this benchmark, the producers celebrated the success with a grand celebration in Mumbai. The event was attended by RRR’s director SS Rajamouli, lead actors Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Bollywood celebs like Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Rakhi Sawant, Johnny Lever, Javed Akhtar, Satish Kaushik, Sharad Kelkar, Shantanu Maheshwari, Huma Qureshi, Makarand Deshpande, among others. Actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, who also were a part of the film, were missing from the success party.
Paparazzi shared videos of Aamir Khan chatting with filmmaker SS Rajamouli and other attendees of the party. In the snaps clicked, Aamir is seen sharing a hug with actor Makarand Deshpande who was his co-star in movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Sarfarosh. Another video shows Aamir posing with Rakhi Sawant.
Ram Charan was seen arriving at the event bare-foot because he is following Ayyappa Deeksha. People who are devotees of Lord Ayyappa fast for 48 days along with several other rituals and the time period depends on each person.
After much delay, RRR arrived in cinemas on March 25 starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, RRR collected a buzzing Rs. 939.41 crore in just 12 days making it a huge success globally.
