Reem Sameer Shaikh and Zain Imam to play leads in new romantic thriller Fanaa- Tere Ishq Mein
Colors TV's brand-new venture Fanaa- Tere Ishq Mein is ready to get your hearts pumping with its thrilling plot that will change your perception of love and relationships. Essaying the lead roles of Paakhi and Agasthya in the show will be actors Reem Sameer Shaikh and Zain Imam respectively.
While Agasthya is a suave businessman and a tech-genius, Paakhi, an eternal optimist and a free-spirited girl who runs an event management company. They both are best friends and share every little nuance of their lives with each other. Where will this friendship lead them? As the story unfolds, Paakhi and Agasthya’s lives get a thrilling twist. Produced by Dipti Kalwani, the show will go on floors soon.
Excited to essay the role of Paakhi, Reem said, “I can’t express how thrilled I am to have landed the role of Paakhi! She is a sweet, happy-go-lucky girl who trusts everyone easily; little does she know what fate has in store for her. I’m honestly very nervous to be back on screen and feel even more responsible as I want to keep up the viewers’ expectations and double the entertainment for them”.
Opening up on being cast as Agasthya, Zain Imam said, “It always feels great on television, after a short gap I am reviving my television journey with Fanaa -Tere Ishq Mein and there’s nothing better I could have asked for. Fanaa -Tere Ishq Mein is a new age romantic thriller and Agasthya’s character will leave our audiences surprised. I am very excited about this show and really looking forward to bringing something new and refreshing for the viewers apart from just another love story.”
