Raveena Tandon recalls the incident when a veteran actor's sister tried committing suicide

Actress Raveena Tandon was recently in a conversation with a magazine where she talked about the evolution that Indian tabloid journalism has gone through over the years. During the conversation, Raveena recalled her earlier days in Bollywood and how actors would always be at the mercy of editors. She says that the rise of social media has made it possible to dig out the truth, unlike in the 90s.

Talking further Raveena revealed an incident of a veteran actress whose sister actually tried to commit suicide. She committed suicide after a publication wrote a story about her stating that she tried seducing her own sister’s husband. The story and the headline affected her mental health so greatly that she ended up in the hospital because of an overdose of sleeping pills.

 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Raveena Tandon was recently seen in Netflix's latest murder mystery Aranyak.
