Rajeev Khandelwal on his next with Munjya director Aditya Sarpotdar, “It’s shot all over Maharashtra on all major historical locations”

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal has come a long way. He seems to be doing the projects that do him justice. Scarcely had the accolades for his role as a bratty superstar in Karan Johar’s Showtime slowed down, when Rajeev is all set to take over the OTT space again, this time directed by Munjya’s Aditya Sarpotdar.

Speaking on the project, Rajeev said, “This is a limited series based on a Marathi novel ‘Pratipashchandra’. This is the title of the book from which it is adapted. I play the guy through who you will see the journey. It’s a very interesting series. The closest parallel I can think of is Indiana Jones. It’s an action adventure of sorts where history merges with the present times. It’s like facts seamlessly blending with the fiction. It’s shot all over Maharashtra on all major historical locations. We just finished shooting for it last month. It’s a different genre. It’s a fun ride.”

 

Rajeev is happy with the way his career is going. “I pick the best from what I am offered. I can’t say I always hit bull’s eye. But I am doing fine,” he said.
