One city, two friends: Rashmika Mandanna to show Kriti Sanon the real Bengaluru amidst Cocktail 2 promotions
As part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming film Cocktail 2, actress Rashmika Mandanna is set to take her co-star Kriti Sanon on a guided tour of Bengaluru, Mandanna’s home city.
The outing, scheduled to take place ahead of the film’s June 19 release, will include visits to local coffee spots, South Indian eateries, and neighbourhood favourites that Mandanna considers personal to her experience of the city.
The Bengaluru tour is an extension of the duo’s off-screen dynamic, which has drawn attention throughout the Cocktail 2 promotional run. Their interactions at public appearances and media events have been noted by fans and press as a visible thread through the campaign.
Directed by Homi Adajania and written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg under the banners of Maddock Films and Luv Films. While the film is described as a spiritual successor to the 2012 hit Cocktail, it features a completely new set of characters and storyline.
Billed as a contemporary romantic comedy-drama, the film explores the evolving dynamics of love, friendship, and heartbreak among three young adults. The narrative follows their emotional journey as relationships shift from friendship to romance, leading to unexpected complications and conflicts.
Cocktail 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on June 19, 2026. Advance bookings are currently open.
