Om Raut visits Ram Mandir in Mumbai on the occasion of Ram Navami after unveiling Adipurush poster

To commemorate Ram Navami, a new poster for the movie Adipurush was unveiled on Thursday morning. The film, directed by Om Raut, is based on the Ramayana and stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage. Saif Ali Khan will play the role of the antagonist Lankesh but is not featured in the poster.

After unveiling the fresh poster, Om Raut continued with a childhood tradition. Following the tradition of visiting Ram temple on the glorious occasion of Ram Navami with his mother Neena Raut, director Om Raut this year too visited the sacred temple to seek blessings of Lord Shri Ram, making an extremely significant moment for his upcoming magnum opus that entails divine virtues of Ram and aims to revive Indian culture. Raut offered special prayers at the temple.

 

 

 

For the unversed, Adipurush, featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theatres. Originally scheduled for August 11, 2021, the release date was changed to avoid conflict with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha.

 

It will now release on June 16 this year. The upcoming flick has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles.
