Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was seen in London recently. This photo went viral on social media after the announcement of the birth of Virat and Anushka Sharma’s newborn son Akaay. The actress and the cricketer are already parents to a three-year-old daughter named Vamika. Reports suggest that the actress may have given birth in London. However, there is no confirmation about the couple’s whereabouts.

The couple welcomed their baby boy on February 15. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli officially announced the birth of their baby on Tuesday. The statement read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka.”

 

 

 

 

The name Akaay has several meanings. It is derived from the Hindi word 'kaya', which means 'body'. In Turkish, the word also means 'shining moon'.

 

Congratulatory messages poured in from Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Rakul Preet Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Madhuri Dixit and several others. It is to be noted that Virat Kohli recently took a leave of absence from the ongoing five-match series against England due to personal reasons.
